2024 Chevy Equinox Colors, Exterior, Engine – The Chevy Equinox makeover was supposed to be released in 2024 but was delayed due to global flu pandemics and other issues. But it’s never too late, right? The Traverse, a three-row midsize crossover, is one of the most significant entries in its market and comes standard with a wealth of interior space. You may compare it to the Honda Pilot, Hyundai Palisade, and Ford Explorer, the modern-day mass-market minivans.
With its snappy engine but lack of overall exhilaration, it is one of the most popular today’s most popular vehicles. A 3.6-liter V6 engine with 310 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque provides the drivetrain power and motivation. The Traverse’s available all-wheel drive makes it capable of coping with challenging road conditions, even if it isn’t a proper off-road vehicle.
2024 Chevy Equinox Redesign
New grilles, a redesigned front fascia, standard LED headlights, and new LED taillamps have been added to all-new 2024 Chevy Equinox vehicles for the 2024 model year. For models with an RS trim level or above, heated power-folding outside mirrors are standard.
With the addition of the Midnight/Sport Edition package to the LS and LT trims, the Redline Edition has been redesigned. In addition to front collision warning and lane departure warning, Chevy Safety Assist is included on every model. It is now possible to have adaptive cruise control in a broader range of trims. The eight-inch color driver information display, available on the Premier and High Country versions, is also a pleasant addition.
Interior
For the most part, the inside of the 2024 Chevy Equinox works well for buyers in this market sector. Lots of room, a ton of storage options, and an ergonomic design make it easy to carry your family from point A to point B. The functional interior’s charm isn’t completely ruined by a lack of softness in certain materials, notably on the top trims. All-wheel drive, heated and ventilated front seats, and wireless phone charging are just some of the extras that can be added to the basic model to make it the perfect vehicle for those who want a more luxurious experience.
The RS we tested included the optional captain’s chairs in the second row, allowing for a total of seven seats. A bench for the second row is included as standard equipment. The Jet Black/Spice Red color combination was also a favorite of ours. Passengers who need to charge an electronic gadget will appreciate the abundance of power outlets and USB connections scattered around the cabin.
Engine
The 3.6-liter V6’s competitive 310 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque may not be the most sophisticated in its class, but it is trustworthy. Smooth and linear power delivery characterizes this engine’s operation, as it does for the majority of naturally aspirated engine. As a result, the Traverse is a joy to drive both in town and on the highway, where it will happily go at the maximum speed allowed by the law with no issues.
A nine-speed automatic gearbox drives the V6. For a mid-size crossover, we found its transmission to be both smooth and swift enough for the vehicle’s size. A seamless and almost visible automatic start/stop system is something we can’t claim about every new car, even those that cost substantially more.
