New 2024 Chevy Blazer Concept, Engine, Changes – Fans both new and old have fallen in love with the crossover’s athletic design and surprisingly enjoyable driving experience. Four-cylinder turbocharged and V6 engines provide 227 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque.
If you’re looking for a vehicle that can compete on the open road with a Honda Passport or Ford Edge, you should look elsewhere. Even though the brand is already well-known in the United States, this automobile remains a serious rival.
2024 Chevy Blazer Redesign
The 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, formerly reserved for mid-level vehicles, is now standard on the entry-level car. The trailering kit is standard on all AWD vehicles with this engine, although it is also available on FWD vehicles. In addition to the base model, the Enhanced Convenience option is now standard on the Premier trim. Inspired by the ever-popular Camaro (black on the RS), the large grille’s center bar has a golden 2024 Chevy Blazer bowtie.
This year, the Premier receives a lighter trademark grille, silver-mounted roof rails, darker rocker panels, front and rear fascias, and wheel-arch moldings instead of the traditional black. The sharply slanted headlamps meet the horizontal chrome grille bar at its most interior places. Add daytime running lights and LED taillights to complete the look. If you desire LED headlights, there will be an additional cost. All models include HID headlights as standard equipment.
Interior
Anyone who has owned or driven a Camaro will immediately recognize the 2024 Chevy Blazer SUV. The Blazer was designed with the driver in mind, borrowing extensively from the vehicle before it. This car’s functions are easy to reach, and the center console reminds me of BMWs from the 1970s and other similar vehicles.
Even though the entry-level trims are slightly less well-equipped, the vehicle’s overall quality is good. Complex polymers aren’t often used because most heavily used surfaces are covered with soft-touch materials.
Engine
This year’s 2LT, 3LT, and Premier versions are equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. This engine is compatible with front-or all-wheel drivetrains and generates 227 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This is not a sporty vehicle, but it is powerful enough to help you get out of your own way.
If you desire maximum excitement from your Blazer, the 3.6L V6 engine is the best option. With 308 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque, you will be able to reach your destination swiftly. This car has enough power and seems to be at peace on the open road, even though it doesn’t move quickly from a stop.
